Instead of being entirely dependent on one predominant form of education, combining the two educational approaches can bring about effective results. Our nation's education system badly needs reform, but simple fixes in the current system won't be enough to fix our most pressing issues. Sal Khan, founder of the Khan Academy, has developed an educational model which uses technology to improve not only standardized test scores, but also the atmosphere and dynamic of the average classroom. His tools and ideas are enough to change our entire education system for the better, and give it the upgrade that it needs.
